Farm and Forest Classes
Science should be fun and encourage exploration. We offer experiential outdoor science and nature classes. All classes will include hands on learning and nature walks with age appropriate curriculum. Each group is unique and special. We at CCF only host one class on the farm at a time. Chasing Chickens Farm is located over 15 acres of beautiful farm, forest and wetlands in nearby Lumberton, NJ.
​Mommy and Me
Nature Exploration
3-6 years old
Must be 3 years old at the start of program.
7 years old may register but parents must attend with child

This is a Mommy and Me class. Older siblings may attend but will observe only. $10 / 8week session for each older sibling.

Our Senses
Touch, Sight, Hearing, Smell, Taste, Movement and Balance, Proprioception and Sense of Pride.
Classes will include short walks on the farm, story time and either a game or craft.

​Ecosystems of Burlington County
Explore the diverse ecosystems of Burlington County; pine forests, fields, upland hardwood, fresh water marshes, ponds, rivers and residential ecosystems.
Classes will be a combination of hands on experiences and nature journaling. Short assignments may go home for optional extended learning.

All classes will be outside. Classes will be held except in the most extreme weather conditions. Please dress appropriately and apply sunscreen or bug spray as desired. We will be in nature!
